Visit Entebbe where UWEC (Uganda Wildlife Educational Centre, the former zoo) and the botanical gardens are found. This day trip to Entebbe lets you go behind the scenes at UWEC to see the animals of Uganda close up! We then have lunch by the shores of Lake Victoria before enjoying the beautiful botanical gardens

We leave Kampala in the early morning with your guide picking you at your hotel (also possible to start from Entebbe). Head straight for the behind the scenes experience at UWEC (Uganda Wildlife Educational Centre, the former zoo). Here you come along for feeding of the animals and learn more about them. It is an exciting experience to come so close and you can get funny photo opportunities. We then head for lunch by the shores of Lake Victoria, take the chance to try some local fish if you haven’t already. After lunch it is time for a walk around the beautiful botanical gardens. Here you find nice environment and interesting fauna at the shores of Lake Victoria. It is after this time to return to Kampala as we finish our journey.
